An Odd Weekend

May 07, 2007 00:43

After the play (great job, Abby -- get some mics, you silly theatre department!), I was driving home and got a call from Matt, so we went to a Wendys at 10 o'clock at night to dip french fries in a frosty. Keep in mind, I never eat fast food, so this was random and fun and very Matt-like. Ye was going to come, but in a rush to get there, she got into an accident while pulling out of her apartment. Not hurt, thank god. Thanks thanks thanks for that. We love the Ye, and don't want her hurt. Matt and I waited for her to call us back so we could maybe stop by her apartment to check up on her, but she was talking to a cop until late, so we didn't. And then Matt and I talked about how sad it is that we became friends so late in the year, because now we've gotten really close and he's going to leave me for Furman, which, I assure you, I will not be applying to (even though I've already been told that I've won the Furman Scholar award or whatever it's called, meaning that it's all prestigious and whatnot and I have a nice little scholarship there if I feel like going -- but I know I don't because my sister went there and I'm not fond of it). I'll miss him. Asked about Kristy, while reminded him that he can tell me to shut up. "We're friends," was his reply. I hope he's ok.

On another note, He's seeing someone. I can get over Him. This is really good. I'm actually really happy that He's seeing her. Not bitter, even. Ok, maybe a little bitter, but only when I realize that I could be. Because no more questions. It's His life. And He's happy with her, and I don't have to think about it anymore.

Notes to Remember:
What's happened has happened. There.
I have the most amazing friends ever. Ever.
Kissing is a good way to have a cheerful weekend. Especially with Shrek II in the background and my kitty that kept on jumping on the couch. (This also falls under the amazing friends note.)
The SAT II is two hours shorter than the SAT I. Make sure I can get a hold of Paige to mock her in the future for this.
I'm an amazing procrastinator. Dumbass.

Love and Hope
