Ok, I'm back? For a couple days?
Submitted my entry for Sewanee. I'll find out in a couple weeks, I guess. Or something. And McLeod will, too. Ugh, he's annoying me right now. Pick a mood already, and stop messing with your friends. Half the time he's great to be around, but the other half he really just deserves to be smacked.
Mixed signals again. Not talking to me all day, then hanging around by my locker when no one else is around, not really saying anything. Small talk. "How are you?" "How're your classes?" "Still grounded?" "How was your test?" But mostly silence. Just standing with me while I get my books and walking down the hall with me, but when I had to stop by the computers, letting me walk away. Nothing awkward. Nice silence. Nice walk. We talked before I left. I offered Him a ride downtown. He declined gracefully.
Editing McLeod's piece for Sewanee. He's grateful. It's the good half right now. His writing is great, but the grammar needs help, and he knows I'm compulsive when I edit.
Now editing a friend's English paper. Too distracted.....
