ohhhh the memories...
yep, it's that time of year again. the year 12 assembly/grad/formal. the assembly was this morning. and i went. and i cried at the end. i am not kidding. when mr glanville did his speech and was praying for the year 12's, i cried. it just brought back so many memories for me. being involved a lot with the assembly last year really had a big part in that. like i said last time i blogged, i miss school heaps! i will be going to the graduation tonight as well, even though i'll be a bit late from work. but i'm sure i'll be crying again tonight. yep, i'm a bit emotional when it comes to this stuff haha. angus has his last day of school tomorrow, with his valedictory chapel service and then dinner at night. he reckons he's gonna cry. hahaha that'll be the day. but see... it's a pretty moving time for all year 12's - especially when guys start crying aye! just shows how important the relationships/memories from school mean to us all! *sigh*
anyways, had to work at before school care this morning too. yeh leaving home at 6:30am is definitely not cool. but oh well, i got paid. haha.
well tomorrow night my sister goes off to thailand for two weeks. she's going on a mission trip with people from her grade at school. some are going to thailand, some are going to china. it's amazing that it's tomorrow that she's going... i mean it seems like it was yesterday that she came home and said "there's a mission trip to thailand... i wanna go!!!"... strike, time flies by! and saturday morning... rach j goes to spain on a mission trip for 3 weeks! once again, it seems like only yesterday when she was first telling me about it! will definitely be praying for both of them :)
today i kinda dozed off after having lunch. i was sitting at the table, and kind of put my head down, and off i go having a doze! haha yeh i woke up going "what the?!", with weird looking marks on the side of my face from the tablecloth (weird lacy thing with holes in it) haha yeh i looked pretty stoopid haha. anyways i should have done so much more than i have today. but i feel kinda weird. i woke up this morning with basically all of my voice missing - now it's just all croaky and stuff haha i sound wacked!
well i must be off - i have to leave for work in 10 mins. last day of after school care for the term... i'm taking tomorrow arvo off to go to the airport with karen. and then vacation care next week WOO HOOO :P LUCY IS WORKING WITH ME... how exciting!! Haha by the way Lucy, i'm your "Supervisor" while we're working... how funny aye?! alright catcha later people! leave comments please!!! (why do i have to say that everytime?!?! oh thats right... because if i don't, people DON'T leave comments! gee whiz....tsk tsk... haha)
