(no subject)
i've been okay, considering all the "dad stuff" that has happened this week :P fathers day on sunday was interesting. at night church adam spoke well on colossians 3:18-21 in particular. some bits were pretty tough, was trying to not cry... i mean, i was sitting with a bunch of guys! haha nah i wouldn't have cared really. it was nice after service when gus asked me how i found the sermon. which ended up going into a "catch-up talk" with him. yahhhh that went for awhile :S anyyyyyyywayyyyssssss.....
my kids church lesson went pretty well in the morning, well i think so anyways! 'twas a good thing to be prepared, felt good! and then band in the arvo was pretty good too. got rossco on drums now... can be crazy! i think band's getting a little more relaxed now for me. in terms of leading it that is. i mean, we still have plenty of work to do, but its gonna be a gradual thing, and i think we're doing okay at the moment.
monday was teaching and working as per normal. tuesday was teaching, scripture teaching and working as per normal. then after work i met up with mum & karen and my aunt & uncle at castle towers...at SUSHI TRAIN!!! hahahaha ahhh man brings back memories of living in malaysia. anyways, it was good food. YUMMY stuff!!! :D then we went and saw Suddenly 30 at the movies. hehe yehhhhh go the chick flick! pretty funny movie, with some dodgy bits of course. but *sigh* it was the classic "guy and girl who are best friends in high school hook up later in life, and get married" sorta movie haha! *sigh* awwww you gotta love chick flicks, even though those things never really happen in life haha.
right well today was just teaching at tyndale in the morning, then i stayed around and put a French Horn part for a concert band song onto the computer. Woo hoo, yeh fun. went to blacktown to the op shops and to do some banking. came home and did flute practice. then work. about to have dinner. pumpkin soup.... yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)
tomorrow i'm heading into the city and then parra... shopping!!! gotta go... dinner is served. ciao!!!
