definitely a catch-up blog!
yeh okay peoples sorry... had a rather full-on week this week, and it's still going!! arghhhh!!! i'll give you the run-down on each day then haha...
`SUNDAY: kids' church in the morning, in angus's garage again... *sigh* at least it wasn't too cold this week! murray was on the lesson and did well :) we had discussion groups and in my group it was great... i ended up sharing something to the girls about my life that showed how God was in control of everything, and they were listening really carefully, and i think that they liked it! a couple of them shared stories as well, and i found that really encouraging. year 4-6 girls can be so cool! :) then in the arvo just did some more party organising stuff with mum, and then had church at night. church was good fun, will's sermon was great, we've started a new series on Colossians - good stuff! angus's comment to me when Will asked "what do you think the person next to you needs right now?"... haha yeh gus openly says "a haircut!".. i said "sleep" to him...too many late nights the week before doing school work. but alright already... i know i need a haircut... it will happen before my party! :)cheeky bum...
then after church had a practice with lucy and emily in our flute trio thingy for talent quest in a few weeks hehe. then after that went back to ellie/sarah/jess's place for a farewell party for emily... get this... she's representing AUSTRALIA at the ultimate frisbee championships in norway (or finland... hehe SOMEWHERE IN EUROPE!!!)... HOW COOL IS THAT!
`monday: flute teaching at coverdale christian school started back today... 5 hours non-stop teaching - yeh, kinda painful! start at 8am, go until 1pm. then drive straight across to tyndale to teach again at lunchtime (1:30ish) there! then straight home for a quick lunch, then off to after school care work! yeh... *sigh* full on day!
`tuesday: took karen and sara j to school for band practice (7:30am), and i also taught at school while that was on as well. then back to quakers for scripture teaching at barnier and hambledon public schools... then back to tyndale again to teach at lunch, then home for lunch, then to after school care. then came home and taught once again! strike... mondays and tuesdays are so full on aye....
`wednesday: teaching at tyndale before school again, then i stayed around for another 2 hrs doing music admin stuff for skinner. ie: photocopying!!! concert band is doing "highlights from les miserables" this year again, and so i had to do all the photocopying for practice parts for that... as well as "mah na mah nah" (in other words... the BANANA BOAT SONG!!) hahaha how funny aye... ahhh dearie me. then came home after that and did odd jobs around here, and went to aldi to do a price list for different things i need for my party. then went to after school care work, came home for like 10 mins for dinner, then went back out again to babysit for someone from church ($30 for 2.5 hrs... SCORE!).
`thursday: went out to dural party shop this morning, to check out prices to hire a skirt for my party. only costs $20 for the weekend... so yeh... think i'll be doing that! only gotta find a top to go with it now! then i headed down windsor rd to wentworthville, to the bonds factory outlet centre (they have a sale on at the moment!). got a singlet and some undies for $4.. how cool! and i found shoes for my party there as well!! for only $20! alright!!! :D then went to nurragingy reserve to sit there and have lunch in the sun, haha yeh... by myself woo hoo :) then went to after school care work. was meant to teach at home after work but mum called me at work and asked me "do you want to cancel teaching and go to the heats of the rock estedford challenge tonight?" Hahaha what do you think i said?! CANCEL TEACHING! haha so went to watch the heat at hillsong with mum, karen and sara j... was pretty good! saw seven different schools compete, including springwood high and TERRIGAL HIGH! (go schoolies!). but the last one was definitely the best... pymble ladies college... very good work on that. i think i want to go to the final of the challenge now... it'd be SO GOOD!
`friday: teaching at tyndale before school again this morning. then headed off to penrith shops to search the op shops again for clothes for my party - with no luck! but did find these two funky photo holders.. got 'em both together for $2.50... gotta love op shops! and yeh, also checked out the spotlight party store on high st a bit more... they've got some good tablecloths there so might go back for them! then after penrith went back to tyndale to teach at lunchtime, then off to after school care work. came home from that, had dinner, took karen to youthgroup, washed up etc. and went to bed :) oh yeh and i got asked today by lorien to play flute at her wedding... YAY! very excited about that :) that's gonna be the 3rd wedding i've played flute at this year hehe how cool aye
`today: WELL! i got up and went for an HOUR WALK with my dog! yehhhhhhhh alright... GO ME!!! absolutely buggered as afterwards, but hey... it felt good to do it again! remind me to get back into walking this term :) then came home and had brekkie and then i did my share of cleaning the house.... the dusting part. but i did it BIG TIME!! haha had a damp cloth and went over EVERYTHING!! haha i fully got into it, now the house is spotless hehe! then was just doing MORE party organising stuff with mum (prices and stuff for food... bugger milk is expensive... damn milkshakes!!)... having a break now, gonna have lunch in a tick, then back into organising stuff with mum. then i will have a shower... haha yeh i still haven't had one today coz of everything i've been doing... yep... i smell :) then gotta do my scripture lessons for next week, and ring band people from church and ETC more organising stuff!!! then GO TO BED!! hahaha
PHEW!!! i do way too much don't i?! a normal week in the life of rachel harvey.... scary!!! ahhh well *sigh* that's life i guess aye?! oh oh oh! guess what! i found out through lorien's blog that more ppl from church use live journal... very excited about that! so i'm gonna add them to my friends list woo hoo :) have a great week ppl...
