I'm High on Life!
Had one of the best days and nights yeterday! I went to Jake Gorji's bar mitzvah. For all of you that don't know a bar mitzvah is a jewsih ceremony where a boy becomes a man haha. Anyways...I saw my friend Missy who is Jake's brother and we had such a good time. Her friend Alisha was there too and are other friend Arielle. After the service you can have wine and snacks so we went upstairs and had some. Missy and I always do shots of the wine. There were three rooms with the wine so we had two from each. That's six shots. Then we had two more. That's a total of eight shots. I was feeling kinda tipsy but not too bad.
So then we decided to use the elevator that Missy and I had never used even though we've been at the temple for like ten years. So we get in it and it's like one of those old fashioned ones you know like in Titanic. We press the button and it starts moving. We all screamed really loud. Then we went down and got some lunch. It was wicked good food. I love free food at Bar Mitzvahs. We had cream puffs and this wicked good chocolate cake. Omg so much food and so little time.
So after lunch we decided to ride the elevator again so we did. We got off at the top floor and Jake and a bunch of Jake's girlfriends like 5 of them get into the elevator to ride it down. Jake is such a pimp. He had like ten girls around him at all times. ok back to the story...so they're in the elevator and one of them presses the escape button when they're like 1 foot from touching the ground. They were stuck in the elevator! You could hear Jake screaming and all the other girls. Missy, Alisha, and I just stood around not doing anything to help and laughing. They eventually got out and we clapped for them as they walked past like they had just survived some terrible crash.
After all this fun stuff I went home to get ready for Jake's night party. I was gonna straighten my hair ,but ended up watching the Village instead. I hated that movie by the way. Don't see it. It's really dumb. So We left the house at six and went to the south station where the partay was going on.
We had such a wild time. Missy gave me and Alisha these big poofy hats that were all crazy colored to wear. They looked like pimp hats! So we had those on and some mardi gros beads. We all decided to go to Ben and Jerry's to freak people out. We walked over to B&J's and there was a huge crowd. We walked into the back of Annie's Bookstop and Missy yells " Let's go to the children's section!" Then I said " Yeah lets because I need to brush up on my Curious George!" The people at the counter thought we were on crack. Missy looked so much like a crack whore. The most funny part was the Alisha new the guy behind the counter but luckily he didn't recognize her. As we were leaving Missy yells out" You know what my summer quote is? I bought the new Harry Potter book, have you?" It was so brilliant!
We left Ben and Jerry's and then went back a second time. This time we went and modeled with the cow that's outside the store. I rubbed it with my hand. We also modeled in front of a mailbox with all these sexual poses. These guys that were coming into the restaurant just stopped and laughed at us. I really think they thought we were on crack. We then went into the store again and danced to the music that was being played and then we left.
We went back to the restaurant and had some ice cream. Missy got the idea to go into Ben and Jerry's with the ice cream and so we did! As we were walking outside these old guys passed us and said " Nice Hats" I was like " Thanks I made it myself!" Missy and Alisha went into B&J's with there ice cream but I couldn't do it. Missy's cousin Jessie went too. They went to the bowling alley also! It was so crazy! We weren't even drunk! We were high on life!
We danced the night away! We tried to get some alcohol but it didn't work. We had a few sips of someone's martini but we weren't sure who's it was but whatever it was really good. I had some of my mom's Bailley's. That was good! Got a little tipsy! We got to dance to save a horse ride a cowboy and all that. It was so much fun. Then it was time to leave. The night was topped off by me seeing The Killers perform in SNL. It was perfecto! I slept till 11 today because I was so tired. Gosh we had fun.
