local Getaway
Kukkarahalli kere, apparently was known for it’s stench(due to dumping of the city’s sewage water) a couple of years back. But now it’s been transformed into a beautiful place…….thanx to whosoever concerned. Started takin leisurely walks here n must say the view is absolutely breathtaking!!!
The calm green lake……n the reflection of the sun that shimmers in the serene waters…the sky …. hich looks like a blend of shades that seems to change every quarter of an hour…
The dense,shady trees growing luxuriously n the beautiful birds around make it look like picture postcard. Particularly this time of the year one can witness different species of birds which have migrated to this place…..( since my knowledge in ornithology is poor I’m afraid I don know the names of these birds!).
Tiny birds perched on the tree-tops,long necked ones flyin to-n-fro pickin up tiny branches to build quaint little nests, some wading thru the expansive waters…….
It’s an absolute delight for a photographer or an artist….
It is way better than any of the parks in the city(which r usually crowded n u tend to run into one another!!).
Well……wonder how long my tryst with walking wud continue ... just hope that the natural beauty of this place is preserved!!
