2 weeks to go
The robot ships in 2 weeks. I've been frustrated at times this build season. Students aren't communicating, assuming their portion is more important, and completely forgetting the concessions we made in the first week to be able and adapt to the rules. On the other hand, Saturday every part of the robot ran. It's not done, but we had a robot that drove, lifted, grabbed, all that stuff.
Eric has been wonderfully understanding of my time spent at robots. This past Saturday was late, but I'll leave early this coming week for an event at the yacht club.
On top of that, watched the Superbowl and cheered. Great game. Wonderful defense. Wedding plans are crawling along. Volunteer coordinating for the competition in March is going pretty well. I'm behind on grading, but there's 2.5 weeks left in the quarter, so that's expected.
Today's primary day. I'm not sure I've ever voted in a primary before. I heard a lady interviewed a while ago who said that 15-20 years from now she didn't want to tell her daughter that she had the opportunity to vote for the first woman president and didn't do it. That statement seemed to stick with me.
