Horrible news...
Ok, so I know I haven't updated, and I should more often, but it's hard to find the time when you feel exhausted all the time.
Ok, so it's 1:21am on Wednesday morning. What am I doing awake when I should be sleeping for work, you ask? Well, I got a phone call, about an hour ago that stirred me awake, and then when I finally got through to my mom, who was the person who called (at this time of night, ALWAYS an emergency). The emergency I get woken up to hear, and now can't sleep after, my cousin, who's about 10 yrs old (not entirely sure, haven't seen him in years, hear about him a lot tho), was riding his bike on the highway outside my grandmother's house, why he was out there unattended we don't know, but in any case, he got hit by an 18-wheeler.
Yes, a "mack truck" hit him. He's lucky in a sense, he doesn't have any injuries to his head that are serious, although he does have a spinal cord injury. Possibly paralysis, 3 vertibre are bruised, his legs are shaking and bouncing to the point that they have to tie them down to prevent further injury. They're keeping him in a medically induced coma.
I can't sleep... probably not going to... and probably not going to work tomorrow either... I'll attempt to sleep again soon... I just had to get this out...
