Types of Geeks

I'm gonna list what I can think of off the top of my head:

Space Cadets
---Associated Mental Health Problems: Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder: Inattentive Type
---Characteristics: seems stupid, seems immature, is not alert, has driving problems, has social problems
---Names they were called in elementary school: space case, space cadet, idiot, moron, dingbat, weirdo, geek

Aspies
---Associated Mental Health Problems: Asperger Syndrome, Non-verbal Learning Disabilities, Pervasive Developmental Disorder NOS (which in this case means High Functioning Autism)
---Characteristics: can't read nonverbal cues, does not have an intuitive sense of how to behave in social situations, seems immature, does not seem aware of how people are perceiving them, becomes obsessed with a particular activity, can't make eye contact sometimes
---Names they were called in elementary school: weirdo, geek, freak
---Side note: Is it just me or do all Aspies like video games, anime, computers, Tori Amos and steak?

Whiny Geeks
---Associated Mental Health Problems: Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Anxiety
---Characteristics: complains frequently, makes a big issue out of things that others think are trivial, has a "negative" attitude, blames others for their problems
---Names they were called in elementary school: ????

Shy Geeks: Anxious Type
---Associated Mental Health Problems: Social Phobia and other anxiety problems
---Characteristics: around strangers they keep to themself and do not speak much, when they do speak, they speak quietly, they are easily embarrassed and can't let go of embarrassment, social situations make them feel nervous and tense. Rejection is very hard for them.
---Names they were called in school: ????

Shy Geeks: Depressed Type
---Associated Mental Health Problems: Depression
---Characteristics: they don't speak much and when they do speak they speak quietly, they feel insecure and think their thoughts are unworthy of being expressed, they have trouble making eye contact and are chronically pesssimistic
---Names they were called in school: ????

Unattractive and/or Overweight Geeks
---Associated Mental Health Problems: Compulsive Overeating, Bulimia, Depression
---Characteristics: face or body that does not follow the golden ratio, asymmetrical features, features that are not the right size or shape, gender inappropriate features
---Names they were called in school: fatso, ugly, blubber
---Note: Being physically unattractive does not, in itself, make someone a geek, especially not with friends of the same gender. If people of BOTH genders dislike someone, the person has a problem besides from being ugly. But being overweight or unattractive will cause problems for women looking for boyfriends, even if the woman's personality is normal. To a lesser extent, it will also cause problems for men looking for girlfriends.

That's all I can think of for now.
