LJ JSUT DELETED MY BEAUTIFUL UPDATE! i'll redo it shittily.
things are good. here are highlights.
-roman adventure when we discovered our rome to florence was delayed 10 hrs
-almost not finding our hostel (which is turning out to be wonderful)
-super cool flea market
-star wars episodio III (dubbed in italiano!)
-lunch at si's exchange student's house
-excellent food, gelato
-wine!
-speaking in italian and having a rockin good time.
other plans for florence include checking out some clubs when we aren't so jet lagged, shopping (food, shoes, linen pants), il museo della storia della scienza, la galleria degli uffizi, a walk/hike in fiesole, and maybe a trip to the beach. and we go to bologna on friday!
i'll update again in a few days. even though there's no one at home to read these posts (except for jo), it will be nice to have them recorded for all posterity.
