does anyone listen to converge?
i just downloaded a few songs. this one "bitter cold" has like seriously 4 minute intro of a girl screaming and crying "let me go" and all this shit with really slow guitar intro- and its like 6 something minutes long! weirdest song.
does anyone know derek hess?

if you like art and if you like drawing, you probably will dig derek hess. he is an awesome artist from cleveland who does a shitload of poster work for mostly emo/screamo/hardcore/metal and whatnot bands- i am not so much into bands like that- but i can appreciate like, from autum to ashes, atreyu, eighteen visions and shit. i don;t care really. getting into hess also introduced me to some cool bands like helmet, fu manchu, cop shoot cop, and godflesh. haha.

in fact one time a few years ago i went to the ottobar and saw eighteen visions live. i forget who else played. ha hah! it was all because i somehow got into derek hess. oh yea! i started reading juxtapoz mag and there was an interview with him. i haven't picked one of those up in agessss.
