stupid rain
So today was a not normal October day in Chicago. It was bright, sunny, and 80 degrees. So around 1:30 I'm practically caught up on the admits from the morning and decide that I'll head to lunch around 2:00 and at 1:45 I notice that my cubby is getting awfully dark. I turn around to look out the window to see big, dark, storm clouds moving in and with in 5 minutes is pouring rain.

Not fair!
So out came the umbrella and I did several beautiful leaps in the plaza trying to avoid the monstrous puddles forming as I did have errands to run at lunch. My pants and shoes were only slightly damp by time I got back.
And the storm isn't going away and my cable keeps going in and out in the middle of Studio 60, which makes me a not so happy camper.
I also really hate Mondays. No,really, cause I can't remember the last time I actually got out of work on time on a Monday. I didn't leave till 6:00 tonight because 15 admits came in while I was at lunch. There's no catching up after that.
At least it took a break from raining so I could get home dry.
