It snowed...ugh..
I hate snow...
Let me rephrase..I hate snow when I have to go out into the world and deal with it...in it's yuckiest form..on the roads. I love watching it fall and looking so pretty until some semi comes plowing through it. I'm just not a fan of winter or snow in general..at all.
Parents were outta town this weekend...I was looking forward to having some fun..but, to my dismay, it turned out to be pretty boring.
Friday I worked until 4, then my sister and I went to Aunt Mindy's for dinner and some good times. I got home from that and got a phonecall from Ang...she cut her fingertip off...good lord. It was a crazy Friday.
Saturday was pretty boring as well. I worked until 3, I think (it's bad when you can't even remember when you worked..), then came home, bummed around for a bit before going to Bennigan's with my sister for dinner. Then after that went to Ang's house to check up on her and to hang for awhile. Of course, while I was there it decided to start snowing..how wonderful. I left earlier than I expected to get home before it got too bad.
Today wasn't that great..worked 6-1, was tired most of the day, mom and dad came and surprised me at work (made me happy), and then I just came home and napped. We just went to dinner at Cheers and now I'm stuffed and want nothing more than to cuddle up with warm arms around me..kinda hard to do when you don't have any arms to wrap.
Pete was kind enough to schedule me everyday up until I leave on Wednesday...oh boy. Tommorow I work 7-2 and wednesday I think I work at 8 or something. I just keep telling myself...just make it till Tuesday afternoon and you'll be juuuust fine.
Mom and dad are both working Wednesday, which means I have to ask the Martich's for a ride to the airport. I feel bad about it..but, I don't have anybody else that can take me..which sucks! Oh well, I get to rid in the Lincoln Towncar..and feel like royalty pulling up to the terminal!!
Lately I've been getting some weird comments in my LJ. I screen the comments because I've had a slight problem with this before..but these are to posts that date back a few months..not recent posts. It's strange...these comments will be in the form of one or two words..some are insulting...some are just dumb. One of the comments I got a few weeks ago was to a survey I had posted and it said "weird." That was the comment...weird. I checked the IP address and traced it back to Michigan City. We'll see what happens..I'm interested in knowing why there's such an interest in my LJ.
Speaking of which..I'm gonna rant real fast here. What I write in this LJ is the things that I'm feeling or wanting to get outta my system. Whatever I say is just me venting..that's what this is an outlet for. The people that are included in this LJ are either friends of mine...or people I dislike and cannot tolerate. I would never say anything to their face..but, I use this as a way to vent the anger that is mounting in me. For whatever it is...take it with a grain of salt if it's bad..and just embrace it and feel special if it's good. My LJ..my way..you have a problem with it...STOP READING IT!
Ok, I'm done for now. I'm gonna go knit awhile, watch some t.v., and then hopefully get some organizing and list making done for D.C....I leave in just 3 days..woohoo!!
