(no subject)
I LOVE paycheck day! I didn't work today (even though it was our grand opening), but I stopped by to drop off some canned goods for the Marysville food pantry and get my paycheck. Grand opening went really well, which is good. I really hope I can work things out with my schedule on Monday. I asked off until 4 so I could go to the dentist and get my filling fixed at one, so what does Steve do...schedule me to be there at 1:45. IDIOT!
So then I went to the bank to put my paycheck in the bank (by the way, I can't remember the last time my checking account saw so much money), and I was wearing one of my DZ shirts, and there was a lady sitting behind one of the desks in the lobby. She looked at me and asked "are you a Delta Zeta?" Of course, I answered, only to find out that she was one too! She went to OSU "a few" years ago, and showed me the tatoo on her foot that her and a bunch of her sisters went out to get together while they were in college. I would get a little turtle like that, especially if I did it with some of my sisters. I just thought that was really cool to meet another Delta Zeta out and about today.
