(no subject)
alrighty, first day of classes tommorrow . . . i'm a retriever now!! woohoo, go dawgs! lol not really- the absence of school spirit from cca is still hanging over me, lol. i spent last saturday helping my girls move in and paying off part of my brownie debt to will- that day was awesome, but o so hot!!! i went to see shrek 2 last sunday at umbc too-they had it outside on this big screen, which was awesome (not to mention the cool hats and squeaky blow up animals) the whole part about my truck aka the beast dying afterwards wasn't cool though. luckily will stuck around to see if it would start, and sure enough, there was nothing when i turned the key. wow was that battery old . . . anyways, the beast is back, i spent monday at umbc doing stuff, and worked today, went to umbc for convocation and dinner. it was supposed to be this maryland dinner, so i was expecting crabs- no such luck (there were some form of mutated crab cakes, but not the same as real crab) excited about classes tommorrow, but dreading the work load (school work and work work- my job is sooooo boring-but it pays :) ) i still can't believe i am in college- defintely a surreal feeling . . .
on a sad note, this is my buddy barbora's last week of america for who knows how long . . . *sniff sniff* she is heading back to the czech republic next sunday, which is so sad!!!! shes been an awesome friend at my church and is sooo smart. she has been her because her dad was able to get a job here, and their family came to join him. now that shes graduated and is 18, she can't stay here any longer, something with her visa, so she is going back to the czech. i will miss her soo much!! we had a going away party at youth group last sunday, well, not really a party, more of a mourning service or something, lol. yea, defintely gonna miss her-my buddy on the sunday morning worship team, fellow adorer of mr. bean, and my shy but witty friend- she shall be sorely missed. hm yea, things have been odd lately . . . all in all, growing up sucks and it is hard. what people have acutally said all these years is true- u want to be a little kid again when u are older. oh well, things move on- a little kid couldn't drive the beast, and i like driving the beast so there is some comfort, haha. well, i have to get up at an insane hour of the morning to drop my sisters off at thier schools before i go to umbc, so i shall bid u goodnight- farewell,
