Update on the vehicle situation
I finally gave-in to the inevitable fact that once September rolls around (and I go up to San Luis Obispo for school), having 2 cars is just going to be stupid/impossible... No way to be driving both up & down, don't have a place to store, etc. And plus I would like to have something else to be making the 4-hour drives from school to home and back again in; the ol' Camaro isn't exactly the most comfortable thing to roadtrip in (though not the worst, either).
Anyway, I decided that I want to buy a truck - It's nice and practical. By some miracle I happened to find a PERFECT truck at one of the Tustin dealerships on Thursday afternoon. Well, perfect except that it's a Ford, which I like to try and avoid, but still... It had everything on it that I was looking for, and at a KILLER price, and it was in GREAT shape - only like 3 months used. ...And it got bought out from under my nose. When the 'rents drove up Friday afternoon (they're helping me get the new car) it was GONE. I'm still miffed about that.
So now, I get to try and find a car this week, hopefully before Thursday, since that's when the interest rates are supposed to go up. GRR.
