(no subject)
So I am officially Katie McClure. We've been married a week and a half now and on Friday we got all of the legal name change stuffs taken care of like my drivers license and my name on the Soc card. I'm also on Tim's insurance now I believe, or will be here in a few days once the paperwork gets entered. There has been so much we have had to take care of, beneficiary information, life insurance stuffs, insurance (home, auto and health) and my name on the titles and all of my name change stuffs! When you get married you should be warned and given a list of things you need to do next! We tried to make a list initially but that has since tripled as we realized more.
I also now know why the bride writes the thank you notes. She has to get used to the new last name! Now I don't think I could write Dolliver on a check or anything. Speaking of! Theres something else I need to do, get new checks with my new name! Blah... so much!
Speaking of the happy wedding though, it went perfect! I don't think one thing we wrong or out of place. It was beautiful and so many people told us that it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time, food, decorations, music everything! I was so excited to hear that because I wanted a nice wedding that people would remember! And OMG my dress, it was so worth the extra money I splurged on it, like wow! I had one person ask how much my whole dress and all was and that was it. She was curious because her daughter is getting married soon and she wants to know average costs. My DJ and bartender will be busy too because I've had people ask for their names and numbers because they were so good at our wedding! That makes me happy because my DJ was just starting to do weddings so I know she will get more from my wedding. Not to mention the receptions she'll book from those weddings.
Well I should get off of here and go be a wife!
