go to the bookstore, get the ISBN, the new and used prices, and then get on half.com if you find they are cheaper online then try and buy them from the same "store" and you can save a ton. I bought 11 books (some I didn't even NEED) for 182 dollars. I think I saved like 160 or something like that. Then I bought TWO books from the bookstore and spent 160. So... I saved 160 because I had to buy the books in the bookstore because it was more expensive online.
Also, how do you know you like someone or they like you? I've had that question a lot lately. I am pretty sure I'm right but the other person won't tell me but they do flirt with me a lot. It's a very complex issue.
Also, not saying I'm an expert or anything but I am at 168 so if you have an exercise questions I have been working with a "personal trainer" of sorts so I've learned a lot about eating and exercise in the past three months. Swimming is my preferred sport... and swimming with flippers is the bomb. (I'm just elaborating on your August 1-Sept 2nd weight loss comment) But yeah, my whole family thinks I have an eating disorder... because they see me eat all the time and stuff... right? (Meaning I see them only on christmas/thanksgiving if I even feel like being around them.)

how do you know if someone likes you or if you like them? well to quote Leon Phelps(The Ladies Man), "You will feel it deep down, in your pants."
Emily and I went to a BMI website and it says I have to lose something like 110 more pounds to be at the "correct weight." I don't think its possible for me to be 170lbs..lol. at the moment I'm just eating my fruits n veggies, my whole grains, drinking milk, and doing about 35 minutes of cardio(if i go any longer on an elipticle my feet feel like they are going to burst because I don't have the right shoes) and do 25 minutes of weight training on various machines. I do 100 crunches with 65 lbs on the Crunch machine... not to mention countless other upper body repititions. one thing I am proud of is that I actually ran a whole mile straight..the first time ever in my life.
yeah I JUST told my Dad and Stepmom about the beginning of the 2003 season when I took stackers everyday and only ate about once every 2 days....I tried to tell them that I wasn't TRYING to, its just thats what you had to do to cope with 80 hour work weeks dancing every 20 minutes and sleeping about 3-4 hours a night... they were less than sympathetic. lol.

I KNOW! I'm so busy I haven't slept much this week. I just keep thinking of all the studying I have to get done. Silly drama last week put a delay on life. Anyways, I'm so proud of you! A mile straight is really tough! I think I'm gonna try and do a triathlon in the next year or so... it's like a 2 mile swim, 5 mile run, and 26 mile bike ride.. or something. I dunno. It's 8 am.
Here are some big helps: I stopped eating beef/dark meat. All I eat is tuna and chicken. But you need to eat more than just tuna because the mercury content can be poisonous. - Salads are excellent AND you need the regular dressing because the fat within those releases the antioxidants within the greens. - Fruits, veggies, and water! Excellent choice of nutrition. I completely stopped drinking soda. It's hard but a shot every now and then is fine for me to get by. But drinking the recommended daily amount of ice cold glass of water, 8 glasses at 8 oz, will burn about 136 calories alone. The body has to burn calories to heat it up and since water has none it's a negative calorie.
Anyway, those are just some big things I've learned from fitness mags/personal trainers. However, it seems like you don't need much assistance and it's awesome to hear about this! I still have to put some before and after shots up but I haven't gotten the copies of the pics I took the other night.
