On a different note, "thank you" is a phrase that can go a long way. Earlier I was at the drive-thru treating myself to a fried dinner, and I said my yes ma'ams and thank yous like I always do (unless I am unsure of gender...), and the black ladies at the window were swooning over me. Of course, I was at Captain D's, and I was driving the big-body Cadiallac, so it was probably a combination of factors...
