Having the movie advertisement after the article is ironic. It's like a condom machine in a church bathroom.

"How ironic. Now he's blind, after a lifetime of enjoying being able to see."

Wow, it's so awesome. Somehow seeing it in print makes me more 'real' to me. :D

Thanks for sharing!

I know what you mean. Everything seems so "internet" but seeing this is... I'd liken it to seeing a celebrity, for reals, for the first time; it really hits you then. *pinch* It's real.

I'm not really a fan of Kiefer Sutherland, but I saw him at an In-N-Out Burger, sometime in the 90s, and had an out-of-TV-experience. Another time I saw Ryan Stiles at an antique toy show in Glendale and thought, "he does this?". With "celebrity I like," I feel it's a bit more; it's that, plus the "omg omg omgz!"

But I suppose you're right considering this is good news.

Wile I'm on the topic though, I did sit next to Corey Feldman at a showing of Superman Returns. Actually he sat next to me (him and his wife); and it's a good thing the movie sucked bcz I coudln't stop thinking about how odd it was having Corey Feldman sitting right next to me.  Or, "Hi, I'm Corey too." Dude got up a lot to smoke. Okay, now that I sound like this guy, this next one's going to be hilarious. I once stood next to Stan Winston at a urinal; my thought: "wow, he ( ... )
