Racebending.com Calls Out Nickelodeon's "Power Rangers" Casting Call
We figured it couldn't hurt, so Racebending.com went ahead and emailed Nickelodeon's CEO asking that Nick re-release the casting breakdown and give actors of color a fair and equal chance to audition for the lead role. You can read more about the situation on our site.
Hopefully, Nickelodeon will respond to our concerns and make the role open to submissions from actors of all ethnicities. We're not insisting that they cast actors of color, only that they give them the equal opportunity to submit. Thanks to acmeeoy for the heads up on the issue.
