(no subject)
The new kink!meme just opened... I wish there weren't so many McShep requests... guh... I'm actually tempted to write one, but now I think it would be weird. I can read them together, but I'm not sure I could write them together.
Fic updates:
- BCSD (Being Connor Sheppard-Davids): 2 : Just started this, not sure on ETA, probably not for a while.
- A Fear of Falling Under : In production. Will probably be the next large fic I publish, other than the Big Bang story. Aiming for mid-late September release, depending on how things go.
- Don't You Run (Batman) : Working on the second chapter.
- Life For Rent : Working on the next chapter. The last two episodes of the season will be combined into one chapter, mostly because they're basically part I and II of the same story line.
- John/David fic : Uh... it's coming... sometime...
- SGA/Gilmore Girls crossover : I don't really have the time, but I'm trying to make it. John and Lorelai are just such a *squee* couple. So pretty. I <3 Lauren Graham.
I've also signed up for the Criminal Minds Fic Exchange. I'm not *exactly* sure how it works, but I suppose I'll find out soon enough... *shifts nervously*
Is there an SGA Christmas fic exchange? I'd love to do one of those. I'm really trying to get more into the fandom. (Although, I sometiomes wonder if that's hard to do without writing McShep...) That's partly why I did the Big Bang this year, a little more exposure or something like that. I feel like I post in limited places, and I'm still not all *that* involved in LJ communities.
And I'm still getting the niggles to write some reboot!Star Trek fic. *sigh* I love that fandom, I really do.
In other news...
A friend/co-worker got asked out at work today by a customer. *sigh* Four years in customer service/the service industry and this has definitely never happened to me. I'm trying not to feel bitter about the fact that I've never been asked out... I'm still young, right?
We've painted our living room, well, most of it. Next is the flooring in there, I think, or maybe painting the dining room. The dining room is turning out to be annoying because the painter we hired about ten years ago just painted over our wall paper, the lazy asshat. And it's peeling something dreadful. So now we have to remove all the wallpaper before we can paint. *sigh*
I suppose I'll go back and look at the kink!memes again. There was a possible John/Cam one I might do, but it wouldn't have been my first choice. Darn all those friggin McShep memes!
