I picked up my student loan checks. Yeah, that's a plural. Apparently I got four of them all at once. This gives me a rather, um, large amount of money. Step one: DEPOSIT. Now, mugger-safe, I have potential money translated into imaginary money which I can use as actual money. I've just paid off the money I owe Arthur for rent, and I'm running in the clear for now. I'm about to shift a large chunk of this cash into my savings account to, er, save.
Further news, Spring break is done. I have some assignments I need to do, and I'm quitting my job. I've already turned in my last notice (twice) and my last day of work is this coming Monday. Then I need to find a new job.
I think the manythousand dollars of student loans will hold me over for a month while I get a good job.
Final news, I still don't have a girlfriend, and I haven't gotten any closer to getting one. I'm not WORKING towards one. I don't think that with all the trash going on right now I'd make a very good choice for boyfriend. I did free up my Saturdays, game there being canceled. Now, I'm gonna spend my Saturday nights with Greg and Liz chillin' on WoW... but that seems less binding and I wouldn't feel bad skipping out on that to go hang with a girl, or another friend, or just go to sleep.
