*pain*
Well yesterday was great. Apart from the spot checks (which I absolutely hated, cleaning up every animal-under-the-suns poo), everything was fun! I got to check out the two new Cassewaries, play with the Koalas, kangaroos,(baby)Wallabies, Wombats, Dingoes, LLAMAS, Ostriches, Emus, Echidnas, and a funny bull thing which rammed one of the keepers up the arse with his horns! He didn't pierce him thankfully, but there was much bruising and much swearing.
Another part yesterday which nearly killed me was when they made me deweed the Llama dam. Like, the weeds were over two metres in length, the roots went down even deeper, and it was in swampy conditions, and they made me clean and rip it all out...
IT WAS A FUCKING SWAMP AND I HAD BRAND NEW SHOES ON. Sneakers, but they were new and clean. not anymore. And Im not talking about a little patch, Im talking about around the whole dam, and it was literally a forest. Not happy jan. I had to attack it with a fucking pick axe, and the guys were at the fence eating chocolates joking about there being crocodiles in the dam. >:| grr
My back is in agony, my feet are sore and my hands and wrist joints are swolen.
but thats to be expected.
I got to be the assistant at the shows with the goats, and I got to milk Matilda the cow.hehe
At one point, me and John were watching (and silently laughing) these girls with skirts, or should I say belts, up their cracks, screaming and waving their arms about a goose that happened to be walking their way. What we were laughing about was that these teenyboppers were screaming about a little goose, yet there was an Emu coming up behind them. Oh the joy at their misery was astounding i tell you.
Anyway, Im home at the moment, and I should be getting into studying because I have a test tomorrow about Rabbits.
