Name: Laura
Age: 17
Likes: Quiet time, reading, the medical field, the arts, nature, science, making graphics, spending time with friends, spending time alone to think, fish, observing people, and the somewhat typical anime/manga/video games.
Dislikes: Loud noises, people who are inconsiderate, closed-minded people, people who lack common sense, intolerance, arguments, and being nagged.
Hobbies: Things that involve my likes. Oh, and experimental cooking.

Would You Rather...
Be single, or in a serious relationship? Somewhere in between. I want to be able to have some fun and freedom. I don't suppose I'd mind either of the options.
Be a fighter or a sacrifice? Fighter, I think.
Be street-smart or intellectual? Intellectual. Mostly, that is. If one doesn't have any street-smarts, they're not going to get far. A balance is ideal.
Live alone, or with a room mate? People sometimes find me frustrating to get along with, so perhaps it'd be best for me to live alone. But a room mate could be fun. I suppose it'd really depend on the person, and our ability to tolerate each other.
Live a short, exciting life, or a long, quiet life? Long, quiet life with little bouts of action.

A little-known fact about you: I like romance more than I let on.
Who do you look up to as a model for how to live your life? No one really. I admire some of my peer's skills, but I don't have one person I want to "be". I want to be myself.
What do people appreciate most about you? My honesty, intelligence, and willingness to help if I care, I suppose.
Three positive words to describe yourself: Intelligent, quiet, caring.
Three negative words to describe yourself: Distant, blunt, enigmatic.
What quality do you value most in others? Induviduality and an ability to get along well with others. You know, play nice but not follow the crowd.
The world's not a perfect place. What would you want to change about it? I really wish people would think more, or that at least common sense was more common. We have to "dumb" down so many things, and explain so many things in simpler terms, and I believe better decisions could be made if people thought more about things.
You're not perfect, either. What would you change about yourself? That I wasn't so distant. It's good in some situations, but it generally leaves people frustrated with me, and it also gives people the idea that I don't care.
Do you believe in people? Depends on who.
In yourself? For the most part.
If you were given the chance to become one of the characters for a short period of time, who would you choose? Maybe Kio? I don't know.
If you had the chance to become a part of the Loveless-verse (as yourself) for the rest of your life, would you take it? It seems fairly normal, for the most part. I don't see why not.
Who is your favorite character? I like Kio and Hitomi mostly, and I also suppose Soubi is the type of character I tend to like.
Your least favorite? Yuiko. Well, she annoyed me a bit at first, but she's growing on me now. It's just going to take more time, I suppose.

Show us 1-2 pictures of yourself! (No cosplay pictures, please) If you don't have a picture, give a brief description of yourself.
I don't feel like digging up old, innacurate photos, so I'll describe myself. I have short, ash brown hair (it's not naturally that color, as I always am dying it different shades of brown. But my hair is naturally a shade of brown) and brownish red eyes. I'm shorter than my siblings despite being the oldest--I'm 5'4''. I suppose my skin's a golden tan, mostly because of my heritage--Chinese, Mexican, Spanish, and Scottish--because I don't get out in the sun much.

OPTIONAL BONUS QUESTION*
Defying all expectation, a group of Scottish marine biologists capture a live Loch Ness Monster. In an almost unbelievable coincidence, a bear hunter in the Pacific Northwest shoots a Sasquatch in the thigh, thereby allowing zoologists to take the furry monster into captivity. These events happen on the same afternoon. That evening, the president announces that he may have thyroid cancer, and will undergo a biopsy later that week. You are the front-page editor of the New York Times: What do you play as the biggest story?
The president's operation isn't kept secret? Hmmn.
Well, Loch Ness Monster story. It'd be more relevant to scientists, as it may hold some information about prehistoric life--it has long been thought that Nessie is a prehistoic being.
I would normally put the president thing first, since more people would want to know about that. But it was only a possibility of cancer. If the biopsy came back positive, then that article would be the biggest story. But as it's a possibility, I think the contributions to the scientific world are more important.
