The ending not only makes the whole fic, but it kills me dead. I've dropped my jaw and have yet to collect it. Only you can convert a solely angsty fic into something that punches in the gut and leaves you breathless (no pun intended) ;)

You said you were channeling emo when you were writing this, but I say nay! There was poetry to this. An underlying amusement in this newfound discovery of angsty!Kio.

This is so obviously what Kio would think. LOL, but never feel. If he truly believed Soubi never remembered any of it afterwards, he wouldn't put up with it... as much, anyway. A torn, bleeding, partially naked and completely unconscious Soubi is too tantalizing to resist. Especially when his oh-so-sexy voice whispers just over a hair's breadth Seimei's name.

Spare yourself the heartbreak, it hinted ever so softly, and he squashed it as though it told a lie.

::g:: You know, I was talking to lisiatko last night and the general consensus was that we prefer Kio's kinky!self. Not my fault (well, not entirely =P) that he keeps going angsty like this on me. It's common knowledge that I'm owned by those guys, anyway, so what do I know. >.<
