Your character is going about their daily life when they notice something a bit... odd. They're not sure why, or maybe they don't know that it's happening at all, but their actions have suddenly become limited to a pop-up menu of choices. Some of them a little more, ah, romantic than your character might like. But as it goes in dating sims, they won't have much choice, aside from the ones set out for them, of course. All you can really do now is cross your fingers and hope you don't get the bad end...
EXAMPLE:
CHARACTER ONE: Blah blah blah talking and [actions] blah.
---> Give them a hug
---> Make fun of them.
---> Attempt to cheer them up by introducing them to robot unicorn attack
CHARACTER TWO: ---> Make fun of them
[proceeds to do so]
---> option
---> option
---> option
---> as many or as few options as you'd like
