[Kida had gotten back late from his most recent trip, and spent a few hours catching up with Mikado and Anri like always. But after a while, detached himself claiming he wanted to go cheer Prussia up. Which was true, though he wasn't convinced anything would actually work. He figured a couple bottles of german alcohol might set him down the right

[For a while, there was no answer. Little light was streaming from the cracks and no sound could be heard. It was almost as if no one was home. However, after a bit of time passed, shuffling from inside could be heard, and just in a few moments, the door cracked slightly.

There was no reply, but once Prussia identified his citizen, he walked away from the door, leaving it open for Kida to walk through.]

Ja, come in.

[Has to work a bit to keep the smile on his face at seeing Prussia. He's never really quite prepared for how big a change Doitsu's death made. Follows him in, shutting the door behind him and unshouldering the backpack he kept with him at all times. It was extra heavy and full today.]

I found a good present. So you're busy for the rest of the night now.

[Digging into the bag to pull out a couple of tall bottles]

[Although Prussia's home was relative dark, there were a few lamps here and there that were lit up enough so they could see where he was going. Surprisingly, the room was pretty spotless.]

You can sit down somewhere if ya want.

[he ruffled his hair along the way of fetching some cups, propping them down on a table.]

[Kida almost wished he'd been able to bring back more than a couple of bottles. But he wasn't planning on doing the majority of the drinking. He'd given up on the idea of being able to defeat a german in drinking years back. Pours a good chunk of the ale into each cup, taking a seat.]

You leaving at all, Puroi?

Nah, no point in doing so really.

[plops down on a chair, looking off to the side. He did pick up his cup at least, receiving his gift quietly]

You stayin'?

And leave you to drink alone?

[Shakes his head, sipping]

And! You should go out.

[He doesn't say anything to the first question, but his shoulders were suddenly less tense. Being alone was not his favorite thing these days. It was enough to help him take his own first sip...which ended up being the entire glass.]

Like I said, no need.

Celty and I have a couple of days off, but then Holmes is sending us halfway across the country to look for something for his next elixir.

So you'll be leaving soon.

[....goes back to drinking.]

We always come back. I'll bring you something from the east coast. But I could use a favor. You know how Mikado and Anri get sulky if they don't see me for too long.

I need you to drop in on them a few times.

[fills! and drinks]

I don't worry if it's just a day or so, but a week? They might just sit around being cute and quiet the entire time until I get back. It's a tragedy.

I found two bottles of ale, I should get to make some demands.

That kind of demand says I'll get to drink both bottles then.

If you're going to drink both you have to make them dinner. I'm going to be missing my turn to cook too.
