blast from the past
i just had dinner with two girls i knew back in gradeschool! it was so cool catching up with them, and like no time had really past. i havent seen them in ten years. literally ten years. we only had a graduationg class of 22 kids, so we all knew everything about everyone, and to think i havent known anything about them for ten years is kinda crazy. they stayed friends throughout the ten years, but i drifted away, because i moved downstate when i was 15.
i used to wonder what my life would be like if i had stayed up north and not moved to southern illinios. who my friends would be, if i would have played sports in college. its interesting to think about. i love my life, the way it has developed, who i have become. but i think sometimes about how different my life would be if i lived in mt. prospect my whole life.
anyway, it was a fun night of remembering. they are similar to who they were in grade school, but a little bit more mature, a little bit different. but fun girls, i hope we hang out again sometime.
