Job Description:

• Work as part of a team to design, develop, implement and enhance data structures, stored procedures and other relational DB components
• Be responsible for infrastructural and application oriented database administration tasks
• Guide, train and support application developers, analysts and architects
• Take part in database performance tuning and capacity solutions activities
• Perform database maintenance activities

Requirements:

• 5+ years as DBA Oracle 11g, 12c
• DB2 and MSSQL - big advantage
• 5+ years of experience with development and production environments
• 5+ years of Oracle performance tuning - AWRs, statistics, query & code tuning, understanding DB engine, index consulting, load handling
• Oracle infrastructure - backups, restores, installations, management, RAC, DB console
• Oracle applications champion - PL/SQL, SQL, work with dev teams
• Linux/Unix - shell scripting, server analysis, infrastructure management
• 5+ years of database design, query optimization & performance tuning
• Knowledge and experience with Unix PA-RISC, Linux & Windows OS
• Willingness to travel abroad
