Job description:
Responsible for maintaining the Ravello office’s IT including networking, servers, R&D and CI labs, security and each and every IT aspects.
The role may be extended to operate also the infrastructure parts of the Ravello cloud services in public cloud.
Lead the development and delivery of IT solutions across a variety of technologies.
Job requirements:
4+ years of of proven working experience as an IT specialist.
Hands on experience of operating IT hardware and software
A working knowledge of Virtual environment and operating systems, particularly Linux

2. Test Engineering Manager:
Team's responsibilities:
Writing test plans for new features/products, in the development phase
Participating in design reviews for new Ravello features/products
Manual testing of new features
Reproduce/orchestrate real users environments and reproduce high level technical issues
Work closely with RnD, Product Management and Support in order to understand issues from the field and step to mitigate, solve and prevent
Converting field issues from customer support to reproducible engineering bugs
Indicating areas that require special testing processes
Managing bugs/feature requests/ improvements life cycle
Be very involved in the product life cycle
Reporting to VP of Software Development
Requirements:
Experience as a QA and/or Software testing team leader.
Good working knowledge with Linux and Windows
Good understanding of computer networking (L2/L3/L4+) and virtualization (VMware/KVM/Xen/Hyper-V) technology
Experienced with SQL databases (understanding database schema and writing complex queries)
Experienced with writing test-plans.
Good understanding of highly complex distributed systems, as well as good analytical skills (using logs, monitors, etc.)
Graduate of a major university or technological unit in the IDF
Experienced working in a test-automation centric environment with continuous integration
3. SaaS/Cloud Operations Engineer (Israel)
Primary job responsibilities
Change and configuration management
Evolve and maintain Ravello’s services Monitoring ecosystem
Troubleshooting of production incidents and problems
Own Ravello's service uptime
Manage the capacity and cloud resources used for Ravello’s operational and use and our customers use.
Managing Public Clouds accounts which are the infrastructure for Ravello's service and the integrations to 3rd party and SaaS services (e.g. Billing, processing, CRM, etc.).
Works closely with Support Tier3, NOC and R&D, in addition to processing business oriented demands from sales.
The team is customer centric and is driven from technical and business objectives
Required Skills
Experience with Service/SaaS operations is a big advantage
Systemic view of complex systems and experience with large distributed systems
Linux knowledge (high level - must!)
Experience working with Amazon Web Services or other elastic environments - an advantage
Infrastructure knowledge mainly of networking and databases (rational and or big-data)
Willingness to work in a stressing customer-oriented 24x7 service environment, ability to work during irregular hours including on-call shifts during off-hours, weekends and holidays (on rare occasions)
Scripting/programming knowledge in at least one language ( Python Perl, shell scripts)

4. Senior Software Engineer - Networking
In this position you will join our core engineering team and take a central role in the design, development and maintenance of our high performance overlay networking solution.
You will also have the opportunity to work on our storage solution, as well as our hypervisor management agent.
Requirements
5+ years of extensive network solution/protocols development in Linux
Deep knowledge of L2 and L3 network protocols and understanding of relevant appliances
Experience with C/C++ on Linux
B.Sc/M.Sc from a major university or alumni of a technological unit in the IDF

Experience with Python on Linux
Experience in visualization, cloud, SDN and new tunneling protocols such as VXLAN and NVGRE

Expertise in Linux networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and/or storage systems
Experience in scripting languages on Linux (Python, Shell scripts, etc.)
Deep understanding of the Linux operating system (user space)

Understanding of the x86 architecture

7. Tier 1 Support - Students
Responsibilities
Lead the tier-1 and on-call efforts during shifts
Be the first contact of any support ticket from Ravello users
Provide troubleshooting support to remote end users
Maintains current knowledge and procedures within the support organization
Provide basic technical troubleshooting, i.e., receiving, assigning, escalating, resolving, tracking and reporting of customer technical issues
Be able to perform proper incident handling and reporting of customer issues
Job requirements
B.A/B.Sc. student at their 2nd year of studies (preferably computer related studies)
Technical background, familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows) - MUST
