Release Program Manager
Mentor Graphics’ Systems Design Division is an innovative group focused on building best in class software tools for Engineers to design, simulate and test printed circuit boards. We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Release Program Manager also known as Release Captain. The Release Captain is a liaison to the Corporate Release Team in Shannon, Ireland and the point of contact for groups outside of SDD that contribute to the release (i.e. Technical Publications, Customer Support, etc)
Responsibilities Include:
• Helps drive, plan, and coordinate release activities from concept to delivery.
• Identify resource conflicts, influence, and facilitate course corrections to fulfill project milestones
• Assess, prioritize, delegate, and track concurrent tasks in an effective and organized manner
• Work with all groups and hold accountable all team members to the successful release of projects.
• Ability to integrate acquired companies into the Mentor release process
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
• BS degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related field is required. MS degree is preferred.
• 10 or more years of technical experience in QA or software development environments
• Experience with ClearQuest
• Ability to be a self-starter who is dedicated to the teams and their projects
• Ability to contribute what it takes to meet deadlines and scheduled deliverables
Software Quality Assurance Engineer XD
Mentor Graphics, leader in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our existing team in Rehovot. The successful candidate will be working in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with developers to deliver outstanding products. The person filling this position must be hands-on, pro-active and self-motivated. The person we are seeking has a desire to succeed and is capable of excelling in a challenging environment; an environment that requires multi-tasking and has frequently shifting priorities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Create QA working plans based on milestones.
• Conduct systems, high-level integration and performance testing
• Design and verify test cases using functional requirements
• Isolate defects and perform root cause analysis
• Implement regression / verification testing
• Evaluate and suggest improvements to the software development process
• Work closely with the software developers to ensure a successful, high quality release
• Program and maintain automatic testing scripts
• Create and perform test plans and test cases
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering.
• 1 year Software QA experience
• Knowledge of scripting languages.
• Configuration and Setting up test environments.
• Experience & knowledge of some/all of the following would be advantageous: extending existing test automation frameworks; mechanical and 3D design software; mechanical CAD systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (specifically in English)
• Self-learning abilities.
• Ability to work independently and overcome challenging problems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a development team; contributing proactively and positively with all members of the project team.
• Willingness to work long hours when required.
IT Student

The student will be a part of the IT team in Mentor Graphics, in supporting our site in Rehovot.
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
A student with at least 1.5 years of studies left. Availability for min of 3 days per week.
Knowledge in-
Installation of laptops and PCs
Installation of basic program such as - MS Office, SQL, Visual Studio
Repair of OS problems.
Previous working experience in the field- an advantage.
Java- an advantage
Candidates should have excellent learning skills and be responsive and patient.
SW Engineer Student

The student will be a part of the Embedded R&D team in Mentor Graphics.
in this position the student will implement and test new features in the products under development.
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
Computer Science/ Software Engineering Student from a leading university, with at least 1.5 years of studies left.
Availability for Min of 3 days per week.
Grades average of 85 and above.
Knowledge in C/C++ and Object Oriented Programming.
Embedded Linux knowledge
Scripting Languages knowledge or Electronics knowledge- an advantage.
Candidates should have an excellent learning skills and a ”hands-on" approach.
