Responsibilities:
In this job position the experienced engineer will be responsible for the design and development of automated test systems to be used during manufacturing. This person will be responsible for all the phases of test system development.
• Global responsibility to define and develop well industrialized test solutions for all ADVA products utilizing hardware and software skills in consideration of best test coverage and lowest costs.
• Global responsibility to implement test solutions in ADVA manufacturing locations as well as at external contract manufacturers including all training and documentation work and Ensure that the test system meets the design specifications.
• Global responsibility to deploy and develop the ADVA Test platform.
• Global performance of training courses in terms of using test platform for ADVA employees.
• Introduction and training of new test platform on different ADVA sites as well as at CM sites.
• Jointly responsible for product development in terms DFT for function and final testing and optimize testing.
• Providing of respective documentation for all test solutions and development tasks within project schedule.
• Suggest process or test implementation improvements that will result in higher quality of test solutions.
• Fast responding of supporting ADVA global EMS and DS for any issue related testing.
• Mentoring to junior Engineers on training and assign sub testing task and monitoring engineers to help them understand the architecture, design, processes and tools.
• Technical leader and focal point of any testing issues and requirements.
• Investigations in terms of other test methodology, test strategies and tools for test automation.
• Presentation ADVA Test platform towards internal and external customers.
• Jointly responsible to establish IT infrastructure on different sits to bring the test systems up and running.
• Support of ADVA’s E2E test concept strategy and continues improvement."(c)
