[2013] The LaviYu Fest Reminder + Mod Note
Hello, lovely people!
It's true that the fandom is hardly alive nowadays, but it is also true that our otp love exceeds simply following the series while it's being updated. And that is why, I believe the LaviYu fest should keep going, even if it's just a handful of people, even if it's just a day! LaviYu forever!!
So I would like to remind all of you that this year, on July 8th, we are celebrating the FIFTH!! annual LaviYu Day! You can take part by submitting any and all LaviYu-centric artwork, including pictures, fiction, photography, cosplay, dolls, buttons, cross-stitch projects, fan soundtracks and anything you can think of! As long as there's something LaviYu about it, it's a go. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
And now, a more personal message from your loyal head mod...
As some of you probably figured, I often ended up running most LaviYu Fest things myself - the year with the most help from others re: contests and such was probably the best fest we've had. It's not a surprise that even if a lot of us work together, someone needs to watch over the whole thing. Unfortunately, my life has gotten busier, and certain personal aspects have left me lacking the motivation to do even the things that impact my life directly. Maintaining a fandom event and keeping up the cheerful atmosphere has become way too hard for me. Proven by this post which is, technically, late...ahahahah. But at this point, thanks to you all, the LaviYu fest is bigger than me. And it needs to keep going full-on, enthusiastic and vivid.
To put it short, I'm looking for a youthful spirit who would like to be a LaviYu Fest mod, and carry on this awesome legacy through the internets! I do not plan to step down completely, so I would be ready to help with whatever questions arise, maybe even set up a contest or some other part of an event, but I'd love to share the responsibility with someone enthusiastic.
