haha here we go again
it's 4:12. still up. i should've taken the benadryle like kris told me to. that's what i get for not listening i guess. well, at least it's saturday now!! ill get to see my baby tonight.
hrmm. so nothing too crazy cool happened today. i washed dishes. cooked. (you would think id be smarter and do that in a different order...but no. i wash dishes first, then dirty them again.) umm...my dad and i went to a frontier festival and helped set up radio antennas. That was cool because i dont normally get to use my military job in the civillian world. So yeah, i got to show all the guys how to set up an antenna and how to stake and tie the guy ropes. good fun. My dad's friend Roger brought a small fishing pole to throw the line over the tree (it's hard to explain, we were setting up an 80 meter loop antenna, so one end is connected to the pole we set up, and the other end we just ran thru the top of a tree and tied it off at the base) so anyways, dad tells Roger to bring a fishing pole so we can run this line thru the tree, and Roger brings this baby pole with 4lb test line....needless to say, i had a hell of a time trying to get the line thru the tree. It kept getting stuck and i couldnt tug it free or i would snap the fishing line. At one point, a group of guys passed by...and im sure i looked sort of stupid holding a fishing pole that is casted into a tree....because one asked me...you catching anything?? and my dad and Roger were on the other end tugging on the line, so i said yeah, a couple of suckers. =) Anyhow, we didnt get the line thru the tree with the pole. it just wasnt happening. Dad ended up finding a rock and we taped the line to it and he threw it over that way. My dad's got an arm on him! It's crazy. So we finally got the stupid antenna the rest of the way up. It was raining on us and kind of miserable. i didnt bring a jacket and i started to get cold, so i climbed into my dad's car and reclined the seat...NAP TIME!! i was passed out like woah! i guess that happens when you dont sleep at night tho.
