I havent written in this thing in a while (brought to my attention tonight by kris haha) so anyways...this is me. writing. in this thing.
So lets see....what's new with me.
School starts up on this upcoming tuesday. I'm excited, i cant wait to start the semester. I Just want to get finished with school already. I'm 23 years old and i should have graduated a year ago. Iraq kind of put a crimp in my plans. Now that im with kristin, im just ready to be established in a career and starting my life.
The slave unit (part of the clutch) went out in my truck. I had to back it into some guy's driveway to get it off the road. So, im blocking this guys driveway. I cant get any cell phone service on my phone. I knock on 3 different houses and nobody is answering the door. ARGh. it was just a horrible day. i finally had to walk 3/4 the way up a big hill to get one bar on my phone to call my mom. She came down and picked me up so i could call a tow truck. I wanted to cry when the brought the flatbed down and hauled my truck away. gosh. So, my dad left for work and i had nobody to tell me where i should take my truck to so i could get it fixed...so i just told the guy to take it to the Ford garage in Waynesburg. Not really a great idea. Dealerships rape the hell out of you when it comes to repairs and labor. The part i need was around 150 dollars. But im paying close to $1,000.00 because the cost of labor is almost 50 dollars an hour at the ford garage. I dont know. It just makes me sick to my stomach. I just bought that truck. Blah. I guess the kid who had it before me couldnt drive a stick to save his life. Anyways, the guy called me today letting me know how frickin MUCH it's going to be to fix it, and it should be done tomorrow. Yay for having wheels.
Ive been trying to spend as much time as i can with Kristin. I went up to see her in Avon not too long ago, and then a day and a half later she drove down here to see me. I could spend every day with her. She's just one of those people you never get tired of being around. School started up for here today and she was worried about her classes, and about whether or not we'd get to see each other asmuch. She sent me a text and told me that she thinks the classes are going to be fine, but i know she's going to do great anyways. She's a pretty focused individual. This weekend we went to Ohiopyle State Park and went bike riding on the trails with my little brother Drew. We did about 4 miles out and then 4 miles back. Not too bad, It's pretty flat. Drew busted his finger open when he went to sit his bike down (he had cut it pretty bad with a knife a couple days earlier) and he comes running up to me with blood everywhere...ehh. im not good with blood. not at all. I grabbed his hand and used my t-shirt to try and stop the bleeding. After a couple of minutes i let him go and he was fine until he started to walk away and then it started to bleed again, so i ripped the sleeve off of my horribly expensive goodwill shirt and tied him a little bandage on it. haha he says he's going to goodwill to get me a replacement. I told him that he'd better find a good one, and he assures me he will. I'm going to end up with some hot pink shirt with a butterfly on it. Not that i wouldnt pimp it, because i certainly would. I dont know how he managed it, but he got blood on everything. The bike, my shirt, me, himself, Kristin. gosh. Anyways, we biked the rest of the way back and then I paid for the bikes and bought him some swim shorts and Kris and I took him swimming down by the natural rock slides. He had a blast!! I'll put some pics of him swimming up once im done writing this entry. He thanked me like 5 times in a half an hour for bringing him. I love that kid so much. Hanging out with him and kris at the same time was like having my cake and eating it too haha. They are by far my two favorite people to spend time with.
The next day Kris and I went to pittsburgh to hang with some friends and I sorta kinda danced with her to one song. i wouldnt say what i do is dance, but i guess its close. We left the bar and i was driving home and kris was sleeping in the passenger seat all curled up haha. it was so cute. So, we get home and i get her into bed and she says she wishes she had gotten some coffe when i stopped to get some. So, i told her id make her some and got up to go make it. The coffee got done brewing and i poured two cups and i went back to get her and she was sleeping haha, so i came back out and drank mine and poured hers out. I crawled in bed next to her and she wakes up and is like...is the coffee done? hahahaa. so then i had to explain that yeah, it is. but....it's gone. hahaha she goes 'IM SO MAD!' hahahaha. so i came out and made more and this time she drank hers. We ended up drinking coffe and talking until almost 7am. It was good times. The next day she had to leave and that's always sad, but im going to see her again this saturday. I cant wait. Count down!!
