(no subject)
monday (4/11) at noon-1 pm there will be a reception for the 'interpretations of a portrait' show at my school, fuller hall, in the vault (which is actually a cool place to see art). i have 3 pieces showing. anyone could join, so, i put in three things that i just kind of did: "montreal, march 6, 2005" (a photo of my mom in canada), "breadwinner" (a chine colle monotype with the likes of carolyn cassady and her/allen ginsberg's words) and "the lonley g.i." (me + telecaster + underwear + makeup = pin up girl). they will be showing til like may or something, and the other stuff in there by other people is very good. it's just kind of fun, i'm going unnessecary black dress, as usual.
so i was sitting in a courtyard today for like 2 hours and didn't realize it but i got a lot of sun. i have tan lines from my dress. excellent. i have a date with my deck and swimsuit monday.
other than that, i'm fine. i'm a little tired being it that i left the house at 8:15 this morning...windham->manchester->boston->manchester->salem->windham...and came home at 10:30. i love windham. and i'm not especially looking forward to working 9-4; 5-8 tomorrow but i haven't worked for like the longest time, a week or so.
my parents are watching 'garden state' and it it making me nervous because cliff said that they weren't allowed to see it (we have confidentials..."don't play this cd," "don't let them read that book.") and they degrade us if they know we like "smutty" stuff. or anything close to smutty. like me in my underwear. awesome.
