Dear Mr. Ahern,
I feel like you are being completely unfair to your B-day students. Not only will the A-day students get the weekend to study (which is two days of no sports and no school) but some appear to be getting an extra day of review time.
Most of the A Day classes are ahead of the B Day, for whatever reason. Does it make sense to you that we're rushing to finish the chapter AND take the test when the classes that aren't rushing get extra time?
You posted the review on March 1. That was yesterday. You have given us four days to review and get essay questions done, along with all the other homework we have from other classes, sports, jobs, and our lives. The A Day kids get those four days PLUS the two weekend days. Um...again...does this make any sense?
I really had high respect for your teaching style but now I'm upset that I've been let down. I know that you probably don't care and that you don't think grades in high school are important, but to people who will only get into college and not have to pay for it, it's their life. I don't want student loans, I want a scholarship. And the only way I can do that is to do well in school. See, I don't have the luxiery of fucking around in high school anymore. I'm first in my class. Angelica, Isha, Matt, and Gaoia aren't far behind. It's been my dream to graduate first, and I'm not going to lose that dream because of a class I'll never need again.
I'm considering not taking your test. I've gotten to the point where I think that's the only way you will understand my (and the rest of the B Day kids') problem with this. I don't doubt you would fail me if I didn't take it. And right now, I don't know if it'll make any difference to me.

yea, that's my nice-pissed off-letter to Mr. Ahern...
