School, School, Domino, and Nickel Creek

Well, I finally took back a little control from the chaos that has been my school work these past two weeks.  Yesterday I sat down and wrote my whole American Lit. paper.  It was a short one (8-10 pages) and I am confident that it came out ok.  I had been preparing it in my head for about a week so the writing was just a formality.  Sometimes I love it when papers just form in my head well and other times I just can't get the energy to take the next step.

Now, it is on to an Annotated Bibliography for my Comp. theory class and then one for my Amer. Lit.  I also have papers to grade and schedules to finish.  On top of all that I have to get my CV updated and start to work on a resume for a workshop that the department is doing.  I am actually really happy that the dept. is taking the time to show us a few professional skills, but all work and no play makes Buck a dull boy.

Speaking of play, I caught Domino last night after my writing was done.  I have to say that is was not the best Tony Scott movie I have ever seen (that probably going to Man on Fire), but it was ok.  A little to flash and pop for my taste.  A mixture of reality television, Natural Born Killers, and Tarantino (which I know is a little redundant.)

Annaelendriel_212 and I are going to see Nickel Creek this weekend and I am pretty excited.  I have a lot to do, but I will make some time for fun!
