RC's Special Cosmo
Yikes! I haven't posted a recipe in like forever! So I'm sitting here enjoying a nice Cosmo, and thought I'd share my recipe, as it's a bit different from standard ones. Not remarkably so - I just use about twice the juice!
I'ma put the measurements in "parts." I usually measure out ouncces, but you can scale up or down if you like for more or less of the drink. Actually, when I do big parties, I'll make an entire pitcher of the stuff and peeps can just shake their own up.
Cosmopolitan
3 parts orange-flavored vodka (I like Grey Goose)
1 part cointreau or other orange-flavored liqueur
1/2 part fresh lime juice
6 parts cranberry juice
Load a shaker with ice, add all ingredients, shake it to the bejeezus belt and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel if you are a garnisher. I am all about the presentation, baby!
Lather, rinse, repeat.
