But... but! At some point Peter and El? they're gonna become immortal too, right? Right?!!?
i mean, don't get me wrong, that last paragraph was perfect in every letter.
But I NEED to know that they'll be together forever. (really forever.)
*sniffle*
That was amazingly written and i adored the realistic approaches of logic that Neal made and the emotional depth your characterization displayed.
Dammit! now i feel all melancholy.
*pouts*

If there is another story in this 'verse (and I really don't see it happening), it will not involve El or Peter becoming immortal - it's just not in my brain that way, I'm sorry to tell you.

My heart aches for Neal when I think how lonely he must've been this whole time. And it was such a great journey, watching him battle his old instincts and finally rediscover love and the wonders of having a relationship, belonging to someone \o/ I just wish there was a way for the three of them to stay together forever ♥
I also love they way you managed to balance the insanely serious matters with a little bit of humor because, seriously, sometimes Neal's thoughts and silent comments were just cracking me up. I love the Swedish equivalent of Banzai, also - fock :D
Awww, what a perfect first post in the awesome h/c fest \o/ Thank you so much *hugs*

I ached for poor Neal when his brother died chasing after him. There was great tension in the whole Nance situation. I love the desperate normality of El and Neal making tuna melts. I love Hughes sticking up for Neal, and Neal being genuinely touched by it. And I adore how both Peter and Neal immediately ask El and Moz if this plan "is like that time at the strip club." I laughed, despite the direness of the bigger picture situation.
Alas, if I keep listing all the great things about this story, I'll be re-writing the whole thing.
Brava!

(I've been at this work-related "institute" since mid-afternoon Saturday. It's been good (and productive), but it's also tiring and my brain is pretty full. And I haven't been able to get my S3 DVDs yet. :( Still, I've been trying to keep up with as many of the new fic postings as I can, and I was excited to see what you had done with the rest of this story. And it was great!)
