Ze Floodgates, they be opening!
First off: I'm alive!
...other than that, not much has happened to me, except for a few mildly interesting anecdotes, some expeditions into the wilds in search for hidden treasures and the creation of some things out of clay. Of course, I've been procrastinating to the utmost of my ability (yes, I'll get to posting those Cruise trips...eventually).
But first: Here have a dose of WTF in pictures!
What we have here is a box of $1.50 wonderfulness by way of Walmart.
It came out of the package almost like normal oatmeal... if you ignored the giant chunk of what looked and smelled like grape coolaid.
When cooked, it looked and acted like the goopy monkey brains you'd expect... though it didn't taste like blueberries at all, only grape!
Also: Completely disgusting.
On the upside: It's crazy healthy and is apparently 'prebiotic', whatever the hell that is.
Right. Some of you may know that Us Weird Canadians (from Ontario) get our milk in bag-form. Jugs aren't available and cartons only come in smaller sizes, so if you want a butt-ton of milk, you need to get it in bags. People outside our province tend to find it a bit weird. A month or so ago Mellon and I went down to Hamilton where she met with a client, and I wandered around an 'upscale' grocery store where I found the display above: BAGGED WATER. Water in bags.

I guess it makes a kind of sense, but damn if I don't think it's a bit weird at the same time.
