Men are quite possibly the most emotionally underdeveloped life forms on the planet.
when it comes to meaningful relationships.
and sure, as friends they can work out great. in fact i might prefer them as friends most of the time.
But i've decided recently that, even though it may not be an original thought, women are cats and men are dogs.
Do dogs seem romantic to you?
well no, scratch that-- dogs are dependable, sincere, affectionate, and loyal. Men are like dogs with a multiple personality disorder where they suddenly turn into snakes/angry bears/water skeeters. Do you think a water skeeter cares how you feel? Listens when you talk? Fuck no, just give it a pond and it will do its own thing for ever.
At least women are just plain old cats--hard to read, reserved, devious maybe, but also playful and affectionate in their own way. Cold at times, but you know its not personal, and tomorrow they will still love you especially if you 'scratch their back' (metaphor could maybe use adjusting, but oh well...) I wish i made a better lesbian. Or that i didn't feel like a poser when i show my less-than-straight side.
Or that i had something to feel actually straight up happy about.
This week has been all about taking it on the chin, a stiff upper lip, and turning the other cheek... Until i said fuck it, im done.
