2009 Hopes
Here are my top 10 my hopes for 2009 (in no particular order):
1) Alexander is born healthy.
2) A quick and problematic free labor and delivery (for selfish reasons of course).
3) Jamers finds an awesome job that allows us to not worry about daycare costs.
4) Financially we get to a point where we can think about fostering animals. As much as I love them, I'm not sure I want to add more furkids to the pack, knowing that I'll have to watch them pass one day. I still dread the day when Bazzy goes and just thinking about it is tearing me up. I think fostering them and helping them find good homes would rock.
5) My mom leaves her place of employment and finds a place where she is happy. I would prefer it be up here so I could have her and my sister up here, but once again that is pretty selfish of me. I just think they both need a change and having them nearby will allow them to be part of Xander's life on a routine basis instead of once or twice a year. Growing up my whole extended family spent so much time together and I really want that for Xander, though I have no idea how we can accomplish that.
6)My sister finds a relationship where she is respected and treated like she deserves. I think moving away from Santa Cruz would be a huge step in this direction.
7) My sister finds a job that she really enjoys and can make at least enough money to have some semblance of independence from my mom.
8) I can find time to be a mommy, a wife, and an employee without losing my sanity.
9) The furkids continue to be in good health.
10) That all my friends going through all these tough times, pull through okay.
