I have
scoliosis. It's a crappy little thing, but doesn't bother me most of the time.
I think my mom and I are looking into the idea of surgery. Basically, the surgery consists of a rod put on each side of my spine to fix the abnormal curve. Yeah, scary. We're going to see if we can go some sort of natural route, though. We have to ask the doctor.
Why am I telling you people? Because it's scary, damnit! I don't like doctors, I don't like needles, I don't like sharp objects used to cut me open, I don't like white buildings, I'm not a big fan of blood, my family consists of those "one in four hundred" people, etc., etc., etc.
*shakes and goes to hide under bed*
(BTW, if you've happened to get the surgery, and know how bad the scars are and how quick recovery is and such, my mom and I would like to know for future reference.)
