hello stranger!
it's been a while...i have been busy, busy, BUSY! i am looking for work (in all categories; as an AD, in an office, whatever is going on, i want a job!) as well as starting up my own thing, which i hope will in time expand to cover the whole work thing, but it is very early days and until i am up and running, another source of income is necessary (if only to fund start up costs!!)

i am blogging via jux (which is going to be recipes, craft ideas and household tips) and is linked to the cooking coaches page on my website, and on blogger (which will be more nutrition/health/workout info and ideas) the page on my website for that is as yet incomplete. i am spread a little thin right now, but its coming along!!
also prepping for a visit from my sister and her girls, so i am REALLY looking forward to that, but toddler-proofing my house is not the easiest task! too much stuff in a small space, there will be attrition of breakable objects, it is inevitable.
what else? on a more personal note james and i have now been together for a year, which surprised me, i was convinced it wasn't that long, but i looked it up and he was correct. so i had to tell him he was right and i was wrong! (and that he'd better enjoy the feeling since it was unlikely to reoccur.) then i took him to see carmen at LA opera, his first opera, and he enjoyed it. he took me out for dinner, so that was the celebration and now we can meander along as we were.
