i have to admit i am a teeny-tiny bit confused by the "new look" friends page, but i shall adjust! myriad fb changes have proven to me that i am very adaptable.
so i am heading home next week for 5 weeks...spending a few days in london on either end, so if anyone is around in london the 1st-4th may or 31st-2nd june, let me know! i'll still be on-line...although its probably faster to drop me a line via fb than here, but this still sends you an email, doesn't it? its been a while!!
i was lucky enough to score a house/cat-sitter. i WAS gonna pack rufus off to stay in laughlin with james (the boyfriend, for those of you not up to date with my life!). but then another friend of mine posted that a friend of HIS was in need of temporary accommodation, so...yeah, MUCH easier! anthony is moving in on sunday, and i am leaving on tuesday. we'll work out when he is moving on when i get back. not really worried, don't have anyone scheduled to come and visit me til october! lol. hotel rachel is taking a break.
anyway, i am SO looking forward to getting home for a nice long trip and hanging out with my incredibly smart, pretty and wonderful 7 1/2 year old niece and her incredible squishably cute 1 year old sister!!
once i get back i shall be looking for work, trying to figure out what i want to do next. back to production for a while probably, which is what i love. but i still want to buy a house, so at some point i need to plunge back into full time employment (bleh) in order to qualify for a mortgage. i only have one more class in this stupid MBA, so that'll be first order of business when i return. i have to say candidly, that the education i have received during this course has been SO BAD and the intelligence level of my classmates and their ability to use the english language SO LOW, that i personally know i would NEVER employ anyone with a degree from the university of phoenix. anyone who employs me is getting MY BRAIN, not anything to do with the piece of paper i am paying for. i seriously could have done everything i learned in this class via google. but this course is NOT designed for clever people (or taught by them for the most part!!)...it is for those desperate to move up in a dead end job, i just wish i didn't have to do their work for them!
end rant, back to figuring out how to pack a few items of clothing for myself into a suitcase already overflowing with toys and clothes for the girls!!
