Deathly Hallows Predictions
I'm in a rush, so this will be quick. I never managed to post my predictions about DH. I have been compiling them for a while, but I haven't gathered them. They are almost all here under the cut. They are garbled and messy because I don't have time to post them properly, but they are up at least. For more, go to the Leaky link to see all 37 pages of predictions. Some of these are less predictions and more important passages that I think will play a part in book 7. Be warned, some of these don't even have proper capitalization and grammar.

I have gone back to review my predictions after reading the final book.
normal means I was right
strike means I was wrong
italics means no one knows
+ dumbledore is dead, completely totally dead. even fawkes knew it. also, he had the portrait show up in the headmaster's office and jkr has said that he is most definitely dead and that he will not "pull a gandalf" if anything, he pulled an "Obi-Wan"
+ i do, however, expect sirius to show up again, whether alive or in some other form who knows
+ neville will live and return to hogwarts as a herbology instructor, and he also has a bigger role to play
+ harry and draco will form an alliance/friendship (if even a very strained and rude one) b/c you have to get along with people you don't like in order to defeat the greater evil (ugh morals) and b/c we have now seen that harry's dad wasn't exactly the angel everyone says he was and harry has to be better than that and overcome his differences.....draco always wanted to be harry's friend and has only acted that way out of 6 years of feeling jealous and rejected
+ lucius will either die or get a dementor's kiss
+ voldemort will die (big surprise) and harry will live (and become an auror)
+ harry will end up with ginny and be one big happy Weasley family (it pains me to say that!)
+ something unusual went on between voldemort and lily potter (he was going to let her live and only kill james and harry, that's how she was able to sacrifice herself for him and therefore put that protection on him, voldemort even told her to get out of the way!) no im not slashing them, but there is definitely more to that part of the story
+ ron will finally have a great moment of his own
+ rita skeeter will have some bigger part to play
+ umbridge will get what's coming to her (finally)
+ RAB is either Regulus Black or someone we don't know (i'm betting on the latter, but not ruling out the first possibility)
+ harry is *possibly* a horocrux but i can't say i believe that for sure
+ snape was not evil, he did what he had to do.
+ there will be no quidditch again.....ever.
+ hogwarts may close temporarily but will be open in the end no matter what
+ the "truth" about harry's parents will be revealed
+ harry will FINALLY make it to godric's hollow....this will have a greater significance b/c of godric gryffindor (so help me harry better not turn out to be his heir)
+ we will find out what all that was about the letter's between petunia and dumbledore, petunia is not a squib, altho she will turn out to either play (or have played) and bigger part
+ dudley will get scared out of his mind
+ harry will finally get his apparating licsence making it so much easier to get things done
+ harry will say goodbye (or "fuck you") to the Dursleys
+ a bunch of that stuff from book 5 in the ministry will become important (including the dept of mysteries and that mysterious locked room)
+ harry will somehow get ahold of sirius flying motorbike
+ hagrid might die....huge possibility really (no pun intended) but i'd rather he live and marry madame maxine and have big giant babys, get his wand back and live happily ever after
+ narcissa malfoy may die at the hands of voldemort and cause draco to seek revenge (completely out there, i know)
+ we will find out more about how dumbledore defeated grindelwald
+ wormtail try to save harry (life debt and all) whether he dies or not i have no opinion yet (altho i want him to)
+ more pensieve goodness (and possibly more time turners)
+ it is very likely that ginny might die (at least come close) but in the end i think she will live b/c harry has lost so much that b/c of the type of story this is, he has to have something good in the end
+ hermione and ron will end up together (or ron will die and harry will end up with hermione....eh, at least it'd be better than ginny)
+ harry and draco will have one massive shag to get out 6 years of pent up sexual tension and then tell no one and go back to hating each other (ok, not really, but one can hope)

+ dumbledore might have re-done the protection spell that lily gave harry by sacrificing herself (since the original one was canceled out by harry's blood in voldemort's new body) since dumbledore used his only chance to defend himself to immobilize harry (why, i still don't know)
+ snape will die. either he will turn out to be good and die, or he will turn out to be bad and die. its either death and azkaban, and i can't see him going to azkaban, especially if he ends up being good
+ Ron will not die.
+ Hermione will not die.
+ I cannot yet bring myself to predict that Draco will die; even though I am realizing more and more just how likely it is.
+ Snape will die. *sobs*
+ Lucius Malfoy will wind up in Azkaban for life, dead, or kissed. *sobs*
+ I am not ruling out the idea that Sirius might turn up alive.
+ Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall bent forward over the bundle of blankets. Inside, just visible, was a baby boy, fast asleep. Under a tuft of jet-black hair over his forehead they could see a curiously shaped cut, like a bolt of lightening
"Is that where --?" whispered Professor McGonagall.
"Yes," said Dumbledore. "He'll have that scar forever."
"Couldn't you do something about it, Dumbledore?"
"Even if I could, I wouldn't. Scars can come in handy..."
+ Professor Sprout will either be killed or retired (whether of age or injury) and Neville Longbottom will become the new Herbology professor at Hogwarts.
+ Hogwarts will wind up open, even if it shuts down at first.
+ Harry will see his parents again in some form or another. Also, his grandparents will turn up, but I don't know if they will show up in person. There might be a painting of them.
+ Harry Potter will NOT die.
+ Lord Voldemort will die.
+ Bill and Fleur will both live. Molly Weasley will live.
+ Lucius Malfoy will escape from jail.
+ Voldemort will attack Hogwarts.
Harry will live.
Voldie will die.
Snape will die.
Lucius will die/get kissed/get life in Azkaban.
The final battle will be wandless.
Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks - all will get together.
Ron will live.
Hermione will live.
Ginny will live.
Tonks will live.
Remus will live.
Bill and Fleur will live.
Sirius will show up again, but not necessarily alive.
The two-way mirror will definitely be important.
Luna will live.
Neville will live and become the Herbology professor at Hogwarts.

I know I have predicted that Draco will live, and I think that's what makes sense with the story. Still, I have a really sick feeling that Rowling will kill him off if only to spite the fangirls.

I have seen several spoilers indicating Hermione will die. She's no Draco, but she is certainly one of my favorite characters. I will be FURIOUS if that happens. Ron/Hermione was supposed to be my one ship that actually worked out. Still, I think I would even sacrifice Hermione if Draco can live. So glad it wasn't true!
