i have the made the worst pictures ever yesterday and so i decided to post the two 'best' one out of them.
but the concert was grand! subway to sally do make excellent music and they make fun even though their lyrics are quite melancholic and sad and full of death and they make you think a lot.
they played a lot of old songs, the new songs of their latest album 'nordnordost' weren't represented as much as their old ones.
they played 'sieben' and 'feuerkind' ( which was a fucking goosebump-song, haha ) and also 'seemannslied'. maybe they played more of that album, but i can't remember properly.
what i CAN remember though was 'kleid aus rosen'. i've never heard that song before ( that's because i do not own all of their former albums yet ) but that song quite made the evening for me. i was literally shivering throughout most of the song. one of the best songs i've heard yet, really. i need to download and present it to you.
they also played really old songs when they still played irish folk music ( and it again showed me how much i love irish music ).
it was a great evening, but mother was a plaque sometimes, haha. she's way to nervous before concerts and events so she always starts to fight with anybody. it's almost not nice anymore.
but after the concert started she's always the best mother you can have.
talk about a love-hate relationship between mother and daughter, haha.
oh i just remembered, i've seen plenty of girls with drawn branches in their faces, can it be they were secretly fans of visual kei? lol.
also there were a lot of fanboys of frau schmitt. i admit, she's quite a beauty but isn't it a bit too... fan-boy-ish to scream her name all the time? ( though i was quite amused, i must say ). it just missed the obligatory 'marry me!' scream, haha.
and i've finally seen an old member of the inchtaboktables!!!! ha~~~ it was b.deutung. he's now playing cello in subway to sally. i'm glad i've seen a member of one of the greatest bands ever. i hope, when the eleven years are over in some years they return with better music and maybe some concerts over here. it'd be one of my greatest dreams to here 'tomatenfisch' live.
and i bought a fantastic poster!
okay, and now it's time for some of the most bad pictures ever. i hate how i look on photos when i wear black and evil stuff. in real time it looked so much better.
eric fish! <3
